Searching Algorithms

Image
Searching: The movie Intend behind Searching Algorithms is to find, check for existence or retrieve some element in a given set of data. Till this point, I have solved many problems related to this topic and all of them could be solved with: Applied Mathematics Find the missing and the repeating number from a given array of numbers from 1 to n. Binary Search Median of two sorted arrays of the same/different size. Count number of occurrences (or frequency) in a sorted array. Min/Max Heap   Kth smallest element in a row-wise and column-wise sorted 2D array Pre-Sorting This method is used to generate a sorted array on which a binary search is applied. So my suggestion would be, whenever it says to find an element you should first think of the brute force method but the next step should be to think w.r.t. the above-mentioned algorithms and programming paradigm. From Scatch to Top

Let's go back in time to my first industrial experience, it was during the summer of 2019 and I was looking for an Internship to engage myself in something constructive. I spoke to a lot of people and sent out my resume on the fly. One of my connections reached out to me about an internship opportunity. I sent out my resume and I was called in for an interview. The Interview The interview process was rigorous, they had a telephonic interview then an FTF interview. In the first interview itself, I got to know that they were looking for someone well versed in Python and Machine Learning Algorithms. So I realized it was up for grab, I brushed up my concepts and nailed the interview and then I got a call from the HR department for next round of interview. All went well and I got an Internship in EY, one of the big four consulting firms. The Overview, Ernst and Young  So on 15th July, I stepped into my first workplace. It was really an amazing experience, the ambiance, and ...

The Mail

Amid this pandemic, I got my first on-campus placement. Although it was finalized that I would be a part of this firm a little back but with the coronavirus coming in, there were certain doubts whether there would be an internship program or not. But finally, after holding my nerves for over a month I have received the mail conforming that  IT IS INFACT HAPPENING and that too work from home, my mom prefers it that way. You must be curious to know which company I got into. Umm lets just say "It is Amazing and Famous". But I'll take you through the journey and then let you know which company it is that I am so excited about. In the upcoming posts, I'll take you back and forth. Telling you my past experiences and taking you through my work every day. For the next few weeks focus would be on learning advanced algorithms and programming paradigms.
